The Cloggies

Despite a very wet month in July, the Gods took pity on us in Milton Abbas and we were fortunate enough to have a warm dry day.
With around 120 craft and commercial stalls at the Street Fair the 9,000 visitors had plenty to see and do.
The Hog roast; BBQ and cream teas were enjoyed by all & the local pub (The Hambro Arms) was a great place to have a drink or something to eat and rest!

As you can see there's a wide & varied programme  of entertainment throughout the whole day including traditional dancers: Maypole, Morris and other dancers; Straw bale tossing and singers ~ Such as the Muck Spreaders. We also have a range of musicians to entertain the crowds.

 

 

Not all the funds stay in Milton Abbas!
After expenses £38,000 was donated to help the Milton Abbas & the surrounding villages' local charities and organisations.
